CINEMATOGRAPHY

Ken Willinger is an Emmy award winning Director of Photography with more than 25 years in the TV/Film business. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, and available both nationally and internationally, he is well versed in all aspects of film and television production.

EXPERIENCE

Ken has filmed projects around the world with much time spent in South America, The Middle East, Africa and Europe. Credits include documentary, narrative, commercial and episodic TV.

PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT

With a state of the art RED ONE Digital Cinema Camera now available in his production package, Ken can offer clients an affordable option to 35mm film.

Other formats available include the PANASONIC HVX200 720P HD P2 camera with a 35mm still lens adapter and a SONY D600WS (16X9) Betacam SP camera.

The recent acquisition of more Arri and LTM lighting has expanded his already expansive lighting package (1 ton van) and can comfortably cover most small to medium needs.

A set of RED PRO PRIME lenses and a new Duclos (Tokina) 11 - 16mm wide angle lens are great enhancements to our RED ONE Digital Cinematography camera package. Also recently added to the production package is an ARRI FF-4 follow focus unit and a Gearnex Geared Head.

We now have a 1.2K HMI Par and electronic ballast in the lighting arsenal!

PBS NOVA used us in upstate New York with the Red camera, Pro Primes and the Angenieux 25-250. We also used the Indie Dolly for the interviews. It looks at Forensics in the courtroom.

PBS Design Squad production is finished for the season! We recorded in Miami for an episode on the Red Bull Flugtag event (the PBS team took 3rd place). Also recorded in London, England and on the Whiteriver Apache Reservation in Arizona.

MUSIC VIDEO!!

I used the Red One Digital Cinema camera and the new Gearnex Gear head to record a music video for the French metal band Vera Cruz in a greenscreen studio.

"The Waiting Room" , a short film for the

Doorpost Film Project, recorded on the RED

camera with Red Pro Prime lenses, was a winner in the first round of the

competition.

"the Clear" has a new website and trailer. The teen werewolf full length feature film is scheduled for fall of 2010. I used the Red with Pro prime lenses. Check out the trailer here:
